I have a Telflex No Feed Back, single cable rotary steering system that has frozen up. I removed it from the dash, but cannot open up the helm casing. I removed all 4 bolts, but the section where the cable enters will not budge. Over this section there appears to be 2 bolt slugs(?) that were apparently filled in when manufactured? <br /><br />Also, the end of the shaft opposite the steering wheel has a bushing between the concave end and the helm. Does this need to be removed? Or do I ned to push the shaft through from the wheel end through?
