On my 115 merc, were the steering linkage comes thru the side deck (side wall were the batteries are) theres a plate were the round ball (what I call the knuckle) on the steering shaft sits, That plate is rusted out and starting to fail, letting the whole steering shaft move not just the inside. Does anybody know if this is a factory merc part, a part that came with the boat (18ft Stuery), or is this an aftermarket part and where might I find one. Thanks
