For all the MUST use Marine plywood. AC EXT. from any body is perfectly ok in NON critical work. Marine ply is Ext. plywood. Except for the quality of the knot holes and the gaps between butt joints as they join the Veneers to make each layer. Some Home Depot AC Ext. is almost as good as Marine. Both AC Ext. and Marine WILL rot if allowed to be kept wet. I have a fishing boat with add on floor boards, front bow locker and instrument console that was built of AC Ext. 10 years ago. Rain floods and a good bilge pump means NO delamination or warping. If it gets wet- dry it out. Simple

Richard you know I have cut saw drilled and such and have yet to run into a void now that I think about it. I will post a picture of the scrap pile. :D

I will have to do some creative work on the sides of the boat. That cable being shorter caused a wee bit of a problem but I was thinking of a solution before that happened. :)

OH and if you guys needed another update I had the darn rack upside down so the steering was backwards. What a trip that was. You can read about it in the stupid human trick catagory.
I just finished flipping it over.
Tomorrow I replace the throttle cable and fix the shift issue. Its arse backwards too.

I wonder is ii because I am left handed?
