Steering Problem

I have an 18 foot Excel Bowrider with a Volvo engine and outdrive. I just finished redoing it, new stringers, transom ans floor. When I had it out on the water, I noticed that it pulled to the left. What would be causing this, is it torque steer? Is this a problem that I should be concerned about or should I just try and adjust that small rudder on the outdrive to remove the pull? Right now the small rudder is pointing straight, I would have to move it slightly to the right to counteract the pulling to the left. Hopefully......

Thanx for your help and have a great day.

Re: Steering Problem

If the skeg isn't bent. take a wrench with you and move the tab until it quits pulling.

Re: Steering Problem

Thanx for your response. The skeg is not bent. I just wanted to make sure that by adjusting the tab I was not covering up another problem.

Have a great day,

Rob.
