Steering Question

I recently became the owner of a 1978 16 ft. Sea Nymph with a 25 hp Johnson. The boat has the steering wheel option and the cable needs replacement. Can anyone tell me who the manufacturer is of the steering system? The boat has been stored for 20 years and needs a lot of TLC.

Ayuh,... Look over the helm, there should be a name on it...
Otherwise, just replace the Whole thing, cable, 'n helm...

A complete system can be had for a little over $100 so if often isn't worth messing with trying to find a cable (which they charge like $50-100 for).
