Does steering ratio (the angle of the rudder or jet to the angle of the steering wheel) vary between different vessels?

When I think of steering ratio, I think of how many turns of the wheel it takes to get full left or full right. Is that what you're getting at?

Yes, the number of turns lock-to-lock. Does it vary between different vessels.

I did define steering ratio above as the ratio of the angle of the steering wheel to the angle of the rudder or nozzle.
