The steering has a TON of play in it and when you go to turn, you have to crank and crank. It's getting freer everyday. Is this a low fluid issue maybe?
Let's start with the basics - who is the manufacturer of the system? Do you have any visible leaks? Do you have a reservoir? Check behind the helm and look for some drips there. While back there write down the make and model of the unit for reference.
