steering tight

I have1992 ranger with mercury 115, the steering seems to get tighter each time out, have greased all fittings.what can I do about it.thanks

Disconnect the cable at the steering arm on the motor, and turn the wheel. If it's still tight, it's probobly the cable and it needs to be replaced. If the wheel turns easily with the cable disconnected, your problem will be back where the motor turns.
