Steering wheel hard to turn

Hi Members,
This is my first post and joining.
I have a Sea Doo Challenger Jet Boat 240 HP EFI Mercuiser. I purchased a few months ago. The steering wheel is hard to turn. How many hours would it take for a professional shop to replace? What would be the cost range? Please advise..

Not to point out the obvious...have you looked under the dash, or surrounding area to see if there's some place where maybe some WD-40 might loosen things up ?

Replace steering cable. Mine was hard too.
Or as the other guy said maybe some moving steering parts need oiling. Good luck
