Ayuh,... You keep mentionin' that ya can't see the gauges,....

That's Why God put yer neck, 'tween yer head, 'n shoulders....

That wheel ain't that big, 'n goin' to a smaller diameter, increases steerin' effort....

I like it, Just as it is....

1+ I would run as is, even if the gauge is moved. When I'm running on the water looking at the gauges is about the last thing I do. I'm watching the water and other boats.

If I ever feel something change with the boat or pulling a skier or tube I will glance at the speedo and maybe the RPM's.

Ditto - RPM and the temp gauge is about all I "glance" at to make sure things are running properly.
