Hi All :)
Have a 14foot fibergass with a 40 hp johnson and replased it with a 9.9
Suzuki. Now i cant seem to get it to go full starboard or port side
the piston seems a little short.
Have added a bar from the piston (shot distance) up to the ob and extended it. This works ok for the starboard side but now the port side
is short. This is driving me nuts. So would app. any help with this.
Thanks. and cheers Quill

Re: Steering

The only thing I can think of is that you have the link arm in the farthest hole forward on the tiller arm on the outboard. This would give less travel than the other holes.

Thanks 109jb
Have no links just made a bracket on the ob. I guess i will make
it longer for starboard and port. Thanks again will give it a shot.
