Stick steering I had kept breaking on me ('course I had an over rated HP engine and the steering couldn't handle the torque). Took an old steering control out of a boat and installed it in place of the stick steering. The steering wheel was mounted on the side of the boat in a vertal psotion - steering was like sitting in a wheel chair and turning the wheel forward or backward. It worked, was cheaper than a new steering system, could handle more torque, and was quite the conversation piece.<br /><br />Just a thought if you want to try something different.
