Sticky trim gauge lever

The trim gauge on my '93 yamaha 250 sticks. I noticed the plastic lever on the engine unit does not move freely. Is there anything I can do to loosen it up? Will wd40 work or will it wash off in the saltwater?

use fluid film once a month.

Where can I get fluid film? I did a search. Can't seem to find anyone who carries it.

cant help you in your area. its slimey stuff but it works very well.<br /> try any land and sea dealer.
