I bought a 2001 Glastron fish n ski boat last summer and the steering on it is very stiff. Can this be lubricated somehow, or is a replacement cable required? If so, how costly is this?
My steering was stiff this year and thought it was a power steering issue. Then one day at idle speed I was bored and started working the steering wheel back and forth completely for a few minutes. Steering loosened up and is like butter now. Give it a try.
