I am still having the problem where my fuel ball will collapse and the motor will be starving for fuel when running at higher speeds. (around 4000 - 5500 rpm) can anyone help?

Re: still having fuel problems

That could be a faulty outlet valve in the fuel primer bulb or.......

(Anti Siphon Valve)
(J. Reeves)

Check at the built in fuel tank connection where the rubber fuel line attaches for a "Anti Siphon Valve". It will be (usually) aluminum, about 2" long, and the inner components will consist of a "Ball", a "Spring", and a "Ball Seat". These valves are notorious for sticking and causing a fuel restriction. Remove the valve if it exists, knock out the inner components which converts it to a straight through fitting, then re-install it. If you're uneasy about converting that valve to a straight through fitting, then simply replace it.

Both the fuel ball and the anti-siphon valve are brand new. What else could it be?

Start with the pick-up tube and check everything from there to the motor. Maybe a kinked line under the floor. If you bought a cheap primer bulb don't assume it's good. I've had bad ones right out of the package. Get one from the dealer.

Is it possibly the fule line (too small) or possibly a kink or junk on the inside somewhere? As ReelDrag said, check evrything.
