Hi all,
After lots of researches on this forum, I thought I would like to share my setup back this community.
1. the boat
This is a seamax 360 boat. I have a electric 50lb trust trolling motor which I use for most of smaller lakes prohibit gas motor. The 55lb thrust moves this boat nicely. I also have a 9.9hp for bigger lake.
I added the front board to mount the anchor pulley for front anchor. The board is secured with three straps, it's good enough to support 15lb anchor I use mostly.
I also mount secondary anchor onto transom. The secondary anchor is important for stillwater fly fishing because it prevents the boat from swinging. I choose the scotty anchor lock system because I can easily swap this anchor lock with a rod holder when I feel like to troll. As you see, I also extend the bench seat little bit to mount another rod holder. I don't like to glue stuff onto my boat, so this is probably the most quick and dirty way to mount a rod holder. I am also planning mount another downrigger rig later on.
I don't usually sit on the bench when fishing the lakes, I usually just bring a folding camping chair on the boat, it's so much more comfortable.
Options are endless with this boat, and this boat is so stable to fly fishing. Thanks for all the ideas people shared on this forum.
2. the trailer
The trailer I got is the shorelandr SLB10. By default the bunk is too small and short (2x4x6'), the tube doesn't sit on the bunk and there is no bunk to support right below the transom. So I did what sea rider suggested here. I add a 1x8x8 on top of original bunks and wrap with outdoor carpet. Because of the width limitation of the trailer, I am only able to have inner half of the tube to sit on the bunk. Although this is not optimal, I think it should be fine for road condition that I travel most.
I also add a bunk right below the transom to support heavier motor while traveling on the highway. it's kind of getto job, I just stack bunch of 2x6 together, but I think it should be working ok. <more picture coming>
