I got the black one. I saw the 2010's have a little more color (black) filled in on the swoop-spear on the side. Although I think all of the other Black GT's look great too. You have a GT?what colors?
Great looking boat Beeg! Looks like a beautiful, scenic setting for a lake too. Not quite as exotic in Iowa. Yeah this has been a test of my patience. I'm not doing well as I try not to think about it constantly. Maybe when the ground is covered with snow and the lakes are frozen over I'll be ok. I will take pics at the marina when it arrives! We have a 2006 185 GX but with Volvo Penta 4.3. It's been great and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Must be a little trying to buy something this big, but have to wait so long to use it. Definitely post up some pics when it arrives.

Ah, I've checked out your photos! Your boat looks fantastic. Part of the reason I bought one. I have a different screen name on that site. For whatever reason I couldn't arrange the same name for both sites. I'm jt185 on glastronowners.com. Yesterday I stopped in the marina where i bought my boat. It's been ordered. I cant wait to see it. They can't give me a delivery date. Oh well, winter is soon here so I guess it doesn't matter for now.Congrats on the new GT 185. I have one with a 4.3 Volvo. I doubt you will be disappointed. I love mine so far. If you want to see some nice pics to hold you over through the long winter you can view my gallary of pics here: http://www.glastronowners.com/e107_plugins/sgallery/gallery.php?ulist.0.1
I'm going to take a buch of pics as soon as it arrives. Full review when I get it on the water. I'll probably have a !@#$load of questions too.Good luck with the new boat. Lots of pics when it arrives...Let us know how it rides...
I don't know what your top speed will be, but congratulation on the new boat! You're downsizing to a boat 2 levels above the one I just ordered. Must be nice. I'm looking forward to exploring new lakes too. Trailer boats are great! Have fun and post some pictures of the new vessel. I'm still trying not to think about mine. Waiting patiently.I am doing my part to stimulate the economy too !
I just picked up a Brand New 2009 Glastron GT-225, Red, with Volvo Penta
5.0 GL engine, and aluminum trailer. Pretty much loaded, with the XL Package, Convenience Package, Bow, Cockpit, and Mooring Covers.
You might think I am nuts, but I traded in my 2007 Glastron GS-259, since the ongoing maintenance costs, and slip fees were tremendous, and I needed to save some money. Downsizing is good sometimes, plus now I can trailer to where ever I desire.
With a 21 pitch prop and all other things being equal, what top speed do you think I could achieve?
Hooray, Spring could not come sooner.
BTW, glastronowners.com is back online after having been hacked.Congrats on the new GT 185. I have one with a 4.3 Volvo. I doubt you will be disappointed. I love mine so far.
