Storage Question - Is this possible?

I am interested in storing my 07 Chaparral 214 Sunesta in the garage, but it will not fit (height). Where can one get a set of the factory boat stands, you know the ones they roll the boat around on while they are building it? The next issue is getting the boat off the trailer and on the stand - any ideas?

Why would I do this? Possibly taking a job overseas, can't sell the boat, so I need to store it. Keeping my home, so I would prefer to store it here.

Heck its a thought!

I think you would need one of those massive forklifts to transfer the boat to and from the trailer and stand. Can you get it into your backyard or the side of your house? What about just leaving it in the driveway?

attach some industrial caster to the trailer, remove the wheels and axle, and roll it into the garage. you want have to worry about anyone using it while you are gone. you can use your tongue jack wheel on the bow.

Where would you attach the casters and how? Sounds like a great idea.

I need it indoors, it could be for 5 yrs or so. Its all a big question mark right now.

look at item G page 1255, http://www.mcmaster.com/. you could drill 4 holes in it, and use a U type bolt to connect it the the trailer frame.
