Keep maximum psi per the sidewall in your trailer tires. Cover them if they get full sun.

Good serious advice. Especially the part about covering them to protect against the sun. Large black trash bags, old tarps, etc work well. The UV will cause the tire to fail before it ever wears out.

Man, I will call Leno and see if I can get some of you guys on, I came really really close to not posting that but did anyhow.

So I will keep the air in them per the side wall.

Jeeperman, you are correct, I put in at the Elkhart hospital and go down river.

How is it a guy from Florida knows of my river?

Now all I need to know is how often do I need to change the brake light fluid?

just replenish the brake light fluid when it gets low. I never change mine. Don't get your BL fluid confused with your blinker fluid, that could cause a short.

Replace the air with water and you won't need to block up!

.. instead of air to help prevent oxygen deterioration of the interior rubber.

I've been running tires for about 50 years, and never heard anything about 'oxygen deterioration' until nitrogen started to be marketed at the general public. You read that on the internet, right? ;)

I agree...I have never seen a tire rot from the inside out,heck....there is more oxygen on the outside.

OK, real answers for just a second to add to the confusion.
Nitrogen is 70% of normal air. Pure nitrogen is used by race teams to inflate their tires for the sole reason that it changes pressure less with temperature and race tires run at about 200?F but cool down in Yellow condition or in the pits. They want to be as consistant as possible.
Oxygen does degrade rubber and most other things. Don't store anything in pure O2. Oxygen in normal air is not a major concern to tires.
Ozone and ultraviolet light are both major problems for tire rubber. Don't store your trailer tires inside your grow-op or welding shop. Covering them from the direct sun is useful.
Tires last longer if they are worked than if they are stationary. The rubber flexing actually helps keep the surface from drying out of volatiles and makes cracking less likely. If you use your trailer seldom you are more likely to have a sidewall fail than have the tread wear out. You can resoak the rubber to restore volatiles that have evaporated over time but those products are fairly expensive and would not be used normally on cheap trailer tires. They are used on racing tires for short term gains.
Tires are not stressed by inflation pressure.

Now please return to the original twisted thread. I'm enjoying it.

Seriously, consider filling the tires with Helium, or if you're a bit more daring, Hydrogen. The tires will be much lighter and won't sag under their own weight, thereby saving much wear.

Helium/Hydrogen could be useful for storing the tires, fill 'em up and let them float the garage ceiling. Just don't forget to tie a string on the valve stem so you can retrieve them in the spring...:D

There is no need to change the brake light fluid, just switch to a bulbless lighting system. It comes in a package deal with the sparkless ignition system.

What a relief. I was going to change my brake light fluid but the mechanic pointed out the falopian tubes were showing dryrot. Replacement was going to be pricey.

Factory air must be better than aftermarket air. Right?
Or maybe I had that backwards.
Oh well.:D

I am no expert but after one year of reading iboats I think the 2 most important issues would be (1) check air for rot and (2) replace air with used to avoid depreciation hit.
