Re: Strange Hydrodynamic handiing..HELP!

Hey guys, thanks a bunch for all the info. I am rip that hydrofoil off there right away. I was just laughing about the pilot comments. Flying jets is similar in some ways but there are indicators to tell me where all the control surfaces are and air is not quite as dense as water so things go south faster in the water than they do in the air. I really appreciate all the feedback and I agree that the previous owner was several sheets to the wind when he decided to install that wing of death to a perfectly good boat. Can't wait to get home and try it out after the foil is history. Thanks again so much for all the input. Happy Boating!!!

Regards,

Matt

You can add trim tab indicators if you want to see where they are. They make NMEA2000 indicators that should work with any NMEA2000 device like a chartplotter or multi-function display. You'd have a nice NMEA2000 backbone to add a myriad of other sensors to, too... My favorites are my fuel flow sensor and speed sensor that let my multi-function display show me intantaneous MPG and range.
