I have a 92 60 hp evinrude. I went to pump up the primer bulb the other day and notice fuel was leaking out of the oil line going to the VRO pump. Funny part is that, I disconnected the oil side some time ago. It has a plug in the hose and now fuel is leaking around the plug. I can only assume that the VRO pump is leaking internally and allowing fuel to make its way into the oil side. My question is, is this a problem?? I can seal it better with a hose clamp so it wont leak fuel but it still doesnt seem like a good idea. Also, does anyone know the part number for a non VRO pump that I can use to replace the VRO pump? Thanks ahead of time.
