I recently bought a 278fs and have been working the bugs out. The main problem was a horrible torque steer. I lowered the motor and the torque steer went away. I lost 2 mph but I will get that back with the new prop but now I have a new problem. I get on the pad alot quicker and the ride is alot better but if I go much above neutral on trim it starts to wobble around. Its not really like a chine walk but not like a bow steer either. Before I move my motor up any I thought Id get some thoughts from here... Any Ideas??
