This could be one of the best striped bass seasons ever. There seems to be plenty of big fish no matter where you go around Cape Ann. We have been doing very well when ever we go.

Spent a few days trout fishing in New Hampshire. My friends and I had a great time. We do this trip once a year for three to four days, water was low, was able to wade.

Re: Striped Bass

Flyrod,The salmon here on Lake Ontario are getting to the point where they are starting to feed in preparation for their September spawning runs.
If you have a chance, try some salmon fishing.Imagine a 30 pound bluefish peeling 400 feet off your reel and then doing it again. It is a must for every striper fisherman. This is not some overfed brood stock of the kind you you find in some Mass lakes. This is down right bleeding thumb stuff!
