Re: Structural question
Ok it's Saturday and not raining
Looking at the holes in the steering arm there are two holes and the rod is connected to the inner one. So that wont help.
Looking at the rod itself turned the opposite way it is all the way in so shortening the rod would loos turning in the other direction so that won't work either.
This the only option offered that might work is adding strength to the frame itself and cutting out a hole to allow the rod to enter the hole further than it can now.
I'm leaning towards Brian s idea of adding a sturdy brace on top and bolting to the frame on each side of the hole to add support to the top of the frame. Will keep updating on what is finally done if anything.
Thanks again for the comments they have been very helpful. If you have more keep em coming.
