Guys,
On the port side of V4 you have tilt/trim wire harness, Battery wires, main wiring harness, fuel lines.
This seems like trying to stuff a turkey. What order should these be in?
E100WRLCRS 100 hp. And is it really crowded around the red plug?

Thanks,

Ed

Can you clarify your question please, I'm not really sure what your asking reguarding order. Yes, all the lines, wires come out of the engine on that side, it does get a bit crowded.

Yes, there is a lot of stuff in that area.

Some tips:

1. Make sure any fuel lines are not kinked.

2. Keep high amp (battery +) electrical wires away from sharp edges.

Other than that, make sure nothing gets pinched when you put the hood on.

What I mean is does the tilt trim wire rest in the bottom, then the other stuff then ground wire and the red wire on top? Does it really matter? Does someone have a good photo. Not shown in my OMC service manual.

Should some wires run under the support braces? Like the tilt trim wire. Does the main harness (engine side) just ride/rest on the rear rubber grommets as it winds around to the terminal strip?

I have run wires under the support brace and no probs. Depends what wires will reach to where you want them to go. The looser the wires are, the less chances of rubbing together.

No real order that I know of, just so they aren't pinched, or chafing.
