Finally the corners are in place still have to mark, drill, and mount the plywood back piece but I was able to get the tricky 8 holes drilled to match up with the transom brackets.

Nothing exciting to report other than I got the tricky to line up 8 holes drilled thru the outer plywood, solid oak and in inner aluminum transom brackets. Put the hardware in yesterday afternoon. On to the bow cover.

Could not take the boat outside for pictures because of the rain. Looking at it coming I realized I need to make the boat cushions either dark blue or dark green.

Wow!!! She looks great! I would never believe that is the same boat you started with.
Can’t wait to see her in the water.

I still have the motor to take care of after the boat, rebuild the fuel pump, new fuel lines, rebuild carbs and mag tower and lower unit.

Looks like a nice job on the cover. Is the canvas waterproof? If not StarBrite makes some good spray on stuff. Is the canvas Acrylic? If so do NOT use any products on it that has Silicone.

Wow! What a project! It is looking beautiful. I am new here and I can't tell you how enjoyable and inspiring it has been to read through this thread. Thanks for keeping it up to date and progressing.

Thanks, it has really not been a costly project. I paid $100 for it. I had to buy another boat for the corner handles that was $150 but I got $65 for the scrap. I got the wood for the seats, the windshield, and the steering from another boat I bought for $250 and got $45 for scrapping that boat out. probably have $100 in paint and spar varnish rivets and hardware and $34 for the canvas for the seats. The motor I bought as a running motor for $300 that will be a little more costly with $500 to get the carbs fuels system and mag tower done and another $300 to get the lower unit rebuilt.
