I'm trying to hook up my new Moeller 12 gallon permanent gas tank with the built in fuel sender to a Teleflex fuel gauge. When I hook everything up and turn the ignition switch with a half tank of gas, nothing happens. The gauge doesn't even move as if no power is getting to it.
From the fuel sender on the tank, the middle connection (sender wire) is sent to the 'S' terminal, and my 2 ground connections on the sender are going to battery ground on my fuse box. The ground connection on the gauge itself is wired to the fuse box.
Any idea what I may be doing wrong, or should I try a new gauge?
