Re: stupid me

I walked out of the house and into the garage one winter morning to go to work. As I pulled the door shut, I immediately remember that the keys chain is inside the house. Normally, I don't take the keys chain out of the ignition but on that particular occasion I took it out of the car for some reason. So, I'm late for work and it was cold as h..ll. Called one of my co-worker who was already at work to come pick me up. Arranged for a locksmith to meet me at the house after work. He tried to picked the front door, no luck. He went around back to tried the back door, no luck. After finding out the dead bolt wasn't engaged he did this trick that was disturbingly simple and quick to unlock the door without damage to anything. I have since performed this trick to get back into my house once. I now have key hidden outside too.

Re: stupid me

20 years ago, I locked myself out. Walked around and found an open window to the bathroom. It was relatively high and small and I had a hard time getting in. Little did I know that a Gas Co employee was watching me from his car. He got on his 2way and had his dispatcher call the police. The gas guy did the correct thing. Took abit getting things cleared up when the sherriff showed up to arrest me. Never left my keys home again.
