hope this qualifies. a few years ago money trouble hit and i had 2 glastron tri hulls and had to sell one. well one had noe motor or any controls what so ever.well the other my dad gave me so i wanted to keep it. to get more money i sold all controls off it to go with the other boat. my wife called me while at work and informed me they came to pick it up and hed a cordless recip saw and cut my dads boat all to hell. motor motor controlls and steering had been cut out of the boat. well being a redneck that was 10 years ago and it still sits behind my house and is useless, but i still got the fond memories of fishing insted of scholl..... i know not funny but thought id share it with you.. also anyone heard of the story about a newbie taking a pontonn boat out for the first time and unhookin the trailer from the truck and complaining it doesnt go fast enough? it was still attached to the boat.lol uncomfirmed but my dad swears to it... later REDNECK

Re: stupid people

they covered that "trailer still attached to the boat" thing on an eppisode of Myth Busters. Your boat will still float, and move, but you'll have a hell of a time getting it to plane. Sorry top hear about your dads boat.....that sucks man.........

Re: stupid people

A few years ago I heard read about a bloke who liked fishing in a lake the other side of the river. Used to back the boat (trailer attached) into the river, proceed across the river & hitch the trailer to a second vehicle on the other side then tow the boat to the lake. Saved a 30 kilometre drive.
