If they are just small spurs they can be filed. To remove the prop, take the nut off at the end of the prop and pull it off. You may or may not have a keeper ring under the nut with a tab(s) bent up to secure the nut. Just bend them down. If the prop hasn't been off for a while, it may take some convincing or even a prop puller. Hopefully it will come right off. Good Luck.
