stupid question...

Well you know the saying..

3.0 lx merc 1997.
I bought a fuel water separator last fall while it was on sale and lost all paper work for it... Do I install that inline from the fuel tank to the fuel pump, or between the fuel pump and the carb?

Im thinking between the tank and pump,but just making sure.

The fuel filter housing... or what it screws onto is going to have arrows indicatating direction of the fuel flow. Just make sure you put the plugs and the barbs in the right spots.
