merc 170 alpha 1. When I run the boat on the flush muffs is water supposed to come out a hole near where the shift shaft comes out of the lower unit and connects to the upper unit? I believe there is a hole there.
it will come out there the exaust bellows connects in the same area and it passes by the shaft<br /><br />the hole lets it drain so it does not freeze<br /><br /><br />tommays
