STV River rocket

has anyone seen these? and whoever has how much are they rougly, i got an amazing job now and im looking to spend some good money on a big toy, i want to throw a merc 2.5 L on the back if i can find one, these boats are awesome, whats everyone elses take on them

You are nuts man. I think I'd pee myself if I went that fast on the water!! Could you imagine if you hit a stump? I guess I'm just not the adrenaline seeking type.

hey yeah, i know it would be a pretty dangerous toy, but the lake im on know i know very very well, even so im stil gonna have to be careful you never know when something as simple as a stick may be floating through the water :S but yeah 105 MPH on the water would be a rush!

hahahaha its always been my dream to get the coast guard after me on a huge river and be in one of these and get away from them NO PROBLEM haha

I know people on the river here that are running into the 130s... and I can imagine that some I don't know are going faster. and you're right, that's not a casual kind of weekend ride...

They have a vid on youtube of a viper running over 100- when ever I show it to someone they always ask what's the guy with the camera riding in? STV River Rocket

Definitely check out Screamandfly. My dad has owned a River Rocket for 13 or so years, and before that he had an STV pro comp. Very fast, very fun. Much more stable in the water than a comparable v hull speed/race type boat (Allison, Hydrostream...). My uncle just sold a beautiful STV pro comp with a 2.5 Merc for about $14k, but his was a bit older, early '90s. There is a very nice '95 River Rocket on s&f for $17k. Another comparable boat is a Mirage Jaguar.
