Does anyone know where to get small switches (12V is fine) that are encapsulated and can be fully submerged in salt water? I had a couple of those aluminum marine push buttons that claimed IP68 but would fail fairly quickly.
It's actually for a surfboard project, not a boat, but its poly resin as well. I could also think of using a normal switch if its somehow possible to glass it in and protect it with some kind of membrane. But the material would have to be compatible with poly, which does not apply to any kind of rubber or nylon.
Or if anyone could point me to a heavy duty sealant that sticks to poly resin and rubber/nylon/tpu that would help as well.
