I was wanting to take my Polk 10 in a sealed box out and replace it with something bigger. It sounds nice but I want more bass. I was looking at the Skar evl series 12” subs plus another amp and was wandering if anyone has had any experience with them in a boat? I was gonna put them in a slot ported box under my dash. I was just gonna get one for now and then maybe get another later. Will a slot ported box under the dash or the boat sound fine? It’s a 18’ bowrider. I plan on adding a couple more batteries too and maybe a high amp alternator.

I built a couple custom sub boxes for my Bayliner bowrider and put Kicker 12" woofers in them powered by a Kicker amp, They sound awesome.
