I wish it was my success story but oh well. For all of you whose hope is diminishing stick in there.

I had to have my transmission rebuilt a year and a half ago. I called about 7 places and the lowest bidder was a guy who had a rural shop right next to his house. I brought my truck there, it took them a litttle while to get the transmission fixed but they were on-budget (and the cheapest).

Fast-forward a year and a half, I give the guy a call for another estimate and low-and-behold they have moved..and closer to the cities. He gives me a great deal on the work so I agree again to let his shop do the work.

This guy and his brother now have a 4000+ square ft garage on PRIME real-estate with 7 mechanics working for them. A year and a half ago the older brother was still driving semi, coming home and working on my vehicle.

They went from greasers to executives in a year and a half. I am soo impressed by these guys and how well there business is doing in these bad economic times.

I had to be one of there first customers because soon after they fixed my vehicle the first time they wanted to know if they could use me as a reference. I'm pretty sure anyone who walks into that shop now would think twice about needing a reference. They got my truck dowe within the day this time (tranny pump that I screwed up when swapping my engine).

ah, the front pump.

Nothing better than breaking the pump on a 30,000 mile tranny.
