Successful Maiden Voyage!

Managed to put the first 4 hours on the boat yesterday and OMG!!! Four Winns Boats and Volvo Penta motors are incredible!!! Followed the break-in instructions to a "T" and everything performed as planned. No engine leaks were noticed, guages looked good, and no water in the bilge. In the 4th hour, it even hit 58 mph during a WOT short burst (surprisingly, the break-in instructions allowed a few WOT bursts with a cool-down period afterwards). The acceleration from 35 mph to 55 mph seemed instaneous and the sound was incredible. Why didn't I buy a boat sooner???

I hope everyone else is enjoying their "Winns" as much as I am!!!

Unfortunately, you'll have to take my word for it because the camera stayed home (there was a threat of rain). We're heading out again this weekend so maybe I'll be able to share some pics next week instead???
