1994 OMC JET <br />I was out on the water recently and was having trouble getting my evenrude 115 to start .some time ago I put a bulb in the fuel line to help pump fuel toward the motor hoping thes would fix the problem it helps ,but it is very disrupting th have to pump the bulb most of the times I need to start the motor .so what is hapening to the gas that was in the line before .I can't smell or see any evidence of a fuel leak so now what..Help.... everytime you start the motor ?? you have to pump the bulb?? i would check the tank, hoses ,& make sure you have the right cap ,things like that,,or maybe a fuel pump problem tad

Thoroughly check the fuel lines and all connectors for potential air leaks. If you have the quick disconnect connectors a common failure is the small o rings.

Had a similar problem on my 40hp. Replaced with new OMC hose and bulb.<br />That cured the problem, motor runs very well. ;)
