Suggestions for a mod.......

My 21.5 campion came with vinyl covers that snapped over these 3 access holes. i've removed and regelled the 4 snaps per hole and now would like ideas on how to cover these up. i'll access the middle one often because of the perko switch and fuel switch. ideas that will look great and be easy access? Thanks

May sound "a little left field", but have you considered a vinyl cover held in place with velcro?

thanks, hated the look of the vinyl covers thus they were removed. Panels and hinges are what i'm thinking but can't wrap my head around how to mount ect. I'm thinking smoke colored lexan/acrylic and have looked for delrin type hinges, I would like to be able to pull a pin and remove the panels when I'm working on the batteries ect. i can't seem to find a hinge that meets the need....... anyone have pictures of what they've done? thanks

Thanks Bob, i'm actually considering not using hardware at all now. instead, the panels that will be 1-2" larger than the opening will mount by having a cleat on the top and bottom. Insert the top cleat first and then drop onto the bottom cleat which will hold it in...make sense? clean, no hardware to worry about, and won't be in my way when i service anything inside.....now to figure out the handles to insert/remove.....;-)

you still need a latch. Hit the right wave and the hatches could pop open using the cleats

1/2" starboard, hinges and pull-ring flush mount latches. Same thing used on Trophy's and lots and lots of hatches and lockers. I've used this stuff lots but it isn't cheap. Probably looking at $40.00-50.00 for a piece 16"x16"

i would think fiber or tinted plexi glass, larger than the hole hindged at the bottom place low so that when their open they lay flat on the deck.
