Hi, I have a small 16' aluminum boat. I would like to hook up an auxilary light and radio up to the battery. It has no wiring as of now and I would like to keep it as simple as possible. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to hook these things up to my battery? what wire would be the best to buy and use? Also I was thinking of moving the battery to the front of my boat for better weight distribution but am not sure how to run wires to my transom mounted trolling motor and fish finder in the back, some people tell me that the wires would be long and get hot? I know its a lot of things to run but they won't all be used at once and I have three different batteries to switch out as they run down. I'm not an electrician so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
