I checked Adults only but could not find clear answer. Real quick, when using muffs for first time after draining block for winter, how can I tell when block has enough water in it before I crank the engine over? Is it when it flows out the exhaust port? Thanks !

As long as you have the plugs or hoses reconnected you can turn the water on and fire away. You are not going to get water to the engine until you get it running. The big deal here is having water connected to the drive so that you don't ruin the impeller which is located in the lower part of the drive. After it is running you'll notice it will take around 30 seconds or so before the water starts coming out the transom.
