I have a 16 ft. john boat with a 74 inch beam. Can anyone tell me whare I can purchase a good bimini top for it. I was thinking about sunbrella fabric for durability. thanks
Yep go right here at iboats. I have purchased both bimini and covers from here and they are great. Sunbrella material is quality and I have been very pleased with my purchases.
I went from a white vinyl top to a navy blue sunbrella top. The new material is great but I could tell a big difference in the heat comming down from the darker color on sunny days.<br />Ya might want to keep that in mind.
Our T-Top has Black Sunbrella. I havn't really noticed it being hot.<br /><br />Four years ago, the hubby and I built a retractable awning extending out from the house over our deck. I sewed the panels using Sunbrella marine blue which is pretty dark. Its water resistant, fade resistant and UV resistant. It looks as good today as it did four years ago. Its also incredibly strong, the awning survived 70 MPH winds when we weren't home to retract them last year.<br /><br />I sew alot and upolster outside furniture, I am a HUGE fan of Sunbrella. I don't know of another fabric that can hold a candle to it.
