Anyone ever use fabric softener on their Sunbrella fabric.I am very familiar with the cleaning care of this fantastic fabric.It does seem to be a little stiff by nature.Wondering if someone has tried softener .Works great on stiff ropes.Charlie

Go to Sunbrella's website they have specific cleaning instructions and I don't believe it says anything about fabric softener.

Be very careful with what you use on the fabric. Could have bad and expensive results. Must be some recommended treatment for this.

Not hi-jacking but does anyone know if they make iron on reinforcements in Sunbrella colors/fabric? I have a Bimini that is getting a bit of wear on top of the support. Would like to reinforce.

Dont use heat on Sunbrella!!!!! Big mistake.Have the same color sunbrella patches sewn on.Anyone can make a patch by cutting a piece of sunbrella and tucking under the edges.As I stated in the post,I am familiar with the proper care.I was curious if anyone had tried fabric softener??????
