Hey Everybody,
I haven't been on line in quite some time as work on my Jetstream/Holiday finished up last year. But after 3 years of searching I have finally found a Sunchief! It's a beauty. All original and in working order with a Volvo Penta 110 HP motor, saltwater series with a heat exchanger, I've never seen one before. Needs a little tune up but should work just fine. I'm not sure if I'll keep that motor for the long run but it's fine for now. If anyone has any experience with one and can shed some light as their durability and reliability it would be much appreciated.
Plans are to do a full restoration much like the "Liquid Limo" (if you've seen that thread) but I'm thinking of painting it up like a Century Raven with the black sides, white deck and red interior. But for now I think I'm just going to drive her around and have some fun, they'll be lots of time for restoration work in the winter.
I'll post more pics as I have them.
