from the recent posts, what would be the best solution to provide adequate filtration on an electronic fuel injected yamaha motor?<br /><br />from rodbolts, greenilz and seahorses posts additional filtration would help the longevity of the injectors. <br /><br />does raycor ( or any other manufacturer ) make a high pressure filter that will fit under the cowling between the high pressure pump and the fuel rail?<br /><br />not to change the subject, but 1999.5 to the end of the 7.3 diesel ford trucks have had similar issues and thus injector damage ( mainly from air in the system.) overly restrictive filters (2-5 micron ) where killing the fuel pump and now most run a 10 micron prefilter prepump and a 5 micron seconday filter post pump.
