This is how educated our youth is, or should I say people who pay no attention to anything but Sports, Hollywood, Movies, Movie stars, Music Idols, Music, and the latest fads. They are so smug as to put no importance on politics, current events, or the world around them, and these people are allowed to VOTE!

As far as politics are concerned, people from both sides sign on for these things, it just happened that in the video they were in a "left-rich" environment. Had they been at some republican event it would have gone the other way.

I think it's hillarious any way you slice it though.

PS - Barry Bonds used DHMO... I'll bet we could get half of congress to ban it if we said it like that, after all, DHMO is a performance enchancer!

I dont blame the people for signing. The chemical name is not a real world term and most likely not even a word,(didnt see it in websters,did you?) and didnt tell what it was and it was described as something that was hurting us .

molecular names are rarely in the dictionary, but even if it was, how many of us have actually read the dictionary besides myself... just kidding, I haven't read it either. Anybody who has had a basic chemistry class could figure it out from the name they used. The thing is, you can't always take someone else's word on what's bad for us. There's always at least one person out there for anything you can think of saying that it's bad for us. Sometimes you just have to think for yourself, which these people obviously did not.

The sad truth of the ignorance displayed in the video is that those wearing the phony "environmental" mantle are entirely too willing to sign anything that sounds "good for the environment". For their blind actions, their world doesn't change much.

But for those of us who actually dirty our hands in the outdoors, the endless restrictions, laws and regulations about outdoor use increases. Restrictions of our freedoms begin with such petitions.

Will our grandchildren enjoy the outdoors as we have? Not if the trend continues. Boating may one day be so restricted that it is no longer a pleasure. The same may be said of fishing and many other outdoor activities. There really are those who are even now promoting such a world.

I do blame ignorant people for signing away my freedoms...

It's not just the environmentalists... people on all sides do the same thing when they are fed misinformation the same way.

By the way, I couldn't agree more with the last line of your post. Freedom is soon going to be added to the endanged species list if we keep falling for the same misinformation.
