Susuki tilt and trim

Went fishing today trimmed up the motor to do some trolling, fished a bit, reeled in the poles, pulled up the trolling motor, hit the trim down switch and all I got was a click from the solenoids. So I unplugged the trim harness and jumped a hot wire and ground direct and nothing happened. Got back to the house unscrewed the top of the tilt and trim motor pulled it off and there was oil all in the motor, the armature and brushes there is not suppose to be oil in that part of the motor is there and if not what would cause this to happened?

I know it has been a while since you have had this problem but what is the solution? I am having the exact same problem.
