Suzuki 140 1995 Outboard Spark Plugs

Is it ok to use NKG #BCPR5ES plugs vs. the recommended NKG #BCOR6ES. I live way far from any city and a motorcycle shop had these. The only difference is the #5 instead of a 6. Thank you!!

I believe the 5 is a hotter plug, keeps from fouling as quickly, but may cause detonation/pinging (fuel being set off before the spark happens)

With NGK spark plugs the higher the number the colder it is, there's as much as +,- 150 C temp variation on the combustion chamber if increasing or decreasing the plug number..
