I have a 2003 Suzuki 140 4-stroke outboard on a 19' skiff. Occasionally when I'm running above 4500 rpms, my engine will quit without warning. The alarm goes off and I'll pull it back to idle and it just quits. I wait a few minutes and it starts right up again and continues like nothing ever happened. I've tried changing gas, changing the fuel filter, cleaning the gas vent, but nothing seems to work. Never happens when running below 4,500 rpms. Any suggestions?
