Suzuki 1995 - 75hp

Hi

I'm looking to buy this motor. Is it a safe move?

Is there anything specific to look at for this particulare motor?

Any advices would be welcome cause I know nothing about Suzuki motors.

What should look like the serial number if it realy a 1995?

the serial will look something like this: 07501-5XXXXX ..... Just check if the motor is in all round good condition, it is a pretty reliable motor ....

before i would buy a motor i would check the compression you want to see no less than a 100psi on each cylinder and you want each cylinder to be no more than a 15% differance.than i would check the fire on all cylinders.check the gear lube for metal and water.and allways hear it run if you can take it for test run.
